New battery in my car just recently. Not near as much fuss. Walked into province auto parts store 4500 and allowed 1000 on my old one.

Once you start using your battery, if it needs topped up, just use distilled water. That’s the recommended procedure form the manufacturer.

Dont use WD-40 or starting fluid it can hurt your piston rings. INSTEAD. use a small amount of 2cyl. Gas it helps lubricate the rings helps loosen carbon build up.

My friend, do you ever get use to the heat and humidity, if you can find it, try to find cotton piping that they use to go around pillows. Get it and char it and it works great. One inch size is great if you can find it.

My friend, you can use WD-40 for starting fluid, works just as good. If you put acid in a battery you will probably have to charge it. If you can get to it easy, I would start my car up unhook old battery and hook up new one and charge will a drive to the store. Take care.
